| Review: | Blood Ties Blood Ties is centered around Vicki Nelson, a former homicide detective who is forced to quit due to failing eyesight. Instead she forms a private detective agency, and enlists the help of Henry Fitzroy, a 300-year-old vampire, in solving supernatural cases outside of police jurisdiction. However her growing feelings for Henry are complicated by her history with Mike Cellucci, her former partner on the force. The second season of Blood Ties ends in a cliffhanger where Vicki is finally forced to choose between Henry and Mike, at which point the show was canceled. This was a travesty, and left many loyal fans incredibly upset. There has since been a strong ongoing effort to bring the show back. Comments [ 0 ] |

| Review: | Blood Ties - Bring It Back!!! I loved Blood Ties. I am so into the Vampire genre movies and TV shows. I love True Blood also, but I don't care too much for Vampire Diaries. I had to get Blood Ties on DVD through Netflix and when I saw the last episode, I could not believe the way the audience is left unfulfilled. The way this ended is sacrilegious to the entire shows persona. Not much thought was put into the ending and should not be ending to begin with. What do people have to do to see a decent tv show nowadays? I got hooked for nothing. I am truly, truly disappointed in the network and whoever else is responsible for this irrational decision. | Review: | Bring it Back - A message from Down Under I don't know who decides that the ratings aren't high enough, but I really hope that the powers that be are looking beyond their backyard because there is a whole world out here that is crying to see this series return. A message to the decision-makers out there: If you aren't going to let a series run more than a couple of seasons, don't bother airing it in the first place. It's a tease and it only leads to bitter disappointment to see talented actors and writers get axed for no apparent reason. I'm gutted that such a great series was canned before it had the chance to really take off. So much potential... wasted. | Review: | Excellent new show For those of us who wanted Buffy to grow up, Blood Ties provides us with a fully mature female lead paired with a very charismatic and alluring vampire. Christina Cox and Kyle Schmid give their all in this grown-up vampire series. Dylan Neal as Detective Michael Celluci rounds out the main cast as the show's mortal male lead. | Review: | Blood Ties quenches your thirst I have been watching Blood Ties since the beginning and it's fantastic. The actors have a knack for drawing the viewer into their world of vampires, and demons. I know, you're probably thinking that it's just another ripoff of Buffy and Angel, but you're wrong. There's a freshness and uniqueness that's hard to describe. The only way to understand what I'm talking about is to see for yourself. Give BT a try, you won't be sorry.
