| Review: | Blood Ties Blood Ties is centered around Vicki Nelson, a former homicide detective who is forced to quit due to failing eyesight. Instead she forms a private detective agency, and enlists the help of Henry Fitzroy, a 300-year-old vampire, in solving supernatural cases outside of police jurisdiction. However her growing feelings for Henry are complicated by her history with Mike Cellucci, her former partner on the force. The second season of Blood Ties ends in a cliffhanger where Vicki is finally forced to choose between Henry and Mike, at which point the show was canceled. This was a travesty, and left many loyal fans incredibly upset. There has since been a strong ongoing effort to bring the show back. |
