Review: Could've been a great TV show
I never was a big Star Trek fan but after watching a bunch of the Next Generation, I started appreciating the original Star Trek a whole lot more. On about every episode of TNG the characters whined. Nobody likes a cry baby.
On one episode Worf and a woman beamed down to a planet and started getting in a shootout. At first I thought that this was going to be an excellent episode with a lot of action. But the woman got killed and Worf beamed back aboard the enterprise and started whining.
If they had made the characters whine in just a few episodes, it wouldn't have been bad. But the characters whined in almost all of the episodes.
They had the opportunity to make the greatest Sci-Fi show ever made but they blew it.
If the 24th century is going to be filled with cry babies, i'm glad that I'm alive in the 21st century.
