She is the heart and soul of the show. I knew last year when they brought on (that other judge) something was amiss. As far as Ellen~ all I have to say is she isn't needed. She doesn't have an ounce of knowledge for music. I feel the standard of the show is slipping. For the first time since Idol started, this die hard fan is not sitting on the edge of my seat for idol to start.
